ABOUT ME
I was born in Sarasota, FL and have spent much of my life in central Florida. Until my early twenties hiking and photography were not a part of my life. It was not until I took a spontaneous solo trip to the Grand Canyon in 2010 that everything changed for me. For the first time, I was surrounded by awe-inspiring landscapes. Within a year I had taken a road trip around the American West with a friend and shortly thereafter purchased my first digital camera.
Over time I found my niche: black and white landscape photography in the classical tradition. I love black and white photography because of its essential simplicity and abstraction. I want viewers to feel immersed in my photographs, as if they were standing alongside me as I pressed the shutter.
